BMW has released a new teaser image of the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X, an upcoming electric SUV. The official photo was shared by Domagoj Dukec, the company’s head of design, on his Instagram account. This electric concept is set to be the future Sports Activity Vehicle, with a scheduled launch in 2025 as the second-generation iX3.

The Vision Neue Klasse X will be the SUV counterpart to the Vision Neue Klasse sedan, evolving into the production model i3 in 2026. While the iX3 will be produced in Debrecen, Hungary, both models will share many similarities apart from styling.

Future electric models on the Neue Klasse platform by BMW are expected to have a unique design both inside and out. The cabin will feature a lack of the iDrive controller, with a large head-up display and a tenth-generation infotainment system.

The official premiere of the Vision Neue Klasse X is set for March 21st. While BMW has teased camouflaged prototypes of the subsequent production version, a full reveal is not expected this year.
