Although the Lincoln initially takes the lead in the quarter-mile showdown, its V6 engine and all-wheel drive system are not sufficient to hold off the BMW. The M3, likely in the Competition trim, features BMW’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine, producing an estimated 503 hp (375 kW) and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque. This additional power enables the BMW to be the first to cross the finish line, completing the race in 11.95 seconds at 123.20 mph (198.27 kilometers per hour). In comparison, the Lincoln finished the quarter-mile in 13.61 seconds at 102.34 mph (164.70 kph).

The next race in the video features the BMW going head-to-head with a Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack. The Dodge launches aggressively with its 6.4-liter V8 engine generating 485 hp (361 kW) and 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of torque. While it leads for most of the race, the M3 eventually surpasses it, finishing first in 11.62 seconds at 125.52 mph (202.00 kph). The Challenger nearly matched its pace, completing the race in 12.01 seconds at 114.22 mph (183.81 kph).
Unfortunately, Lincoln no longer provides the MKZ in the United States, as the company has chosen to concentrate on marketing crossovers and SUVs. The Lincoln had no opportunity against the M3 or the Challenger, but it was not trailing far behind either of the two vehicles. The Challenger also performed admirably, even though it did not secure a victory over the BMW.
