Since transforming the all-terrain tyre market in 1976, BFGoodrich has remained a leader in off-road performance. The company is once again raising standards with the launch of the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tyre. Tailored to meet the needs of modern off-road enthusiasts, this new tyre builds upon the successful foundation of the KO2, offering enhanced durability, resilience, and traction for all your outdoor excursions.
“The legendary toughness of BFGoodrich Tyres has been elevated even further with the All-Terrain KO3,” stated Harold Phillips, Global General Manager at BFGoodrich. “Over the past ten years since the release of the KO2, we have incorporated extensive racing data, customer feedback, and technological advancements into the KO3’s design. We view ourselves as our own competition, and it was time to take all-terrain performance to the next level. We’re eager to see how consumers will utilize the KO3 both in their work and leisure activities.”
BFGoodrich Australia plans to launch more than 60 sizes of the KO3 tyre within the next 24 months, ensuring compatibility with a wide variety of vehicles and RVs. Beginning this September, 38 sizes will be released in three phases, covering approximately 80% of the all-terrain tyre market in Australia. The remaining sizes are expected to be available by 2026, completing the product lineup.
Why the BFGoodrich KO3 is the perfect choice for your next off-road RV adventure
Treadwear: The KO3 features a newly designed tread pattern and an all-terrain rubber compound that delivers outstanding durability and longevity, even on rough, gravel surfaces. Its optimized footprint and full-depth 3D locking sipes promote even wear and extended mileage, making it an excellent choice for long journeys.
Toughness: Constructed with CoreGard Technology, the KO3 demonstrates exceptional sidewall durability, earning its Baja Champion designation. Its Advanced Deflection Design minimizes sidewall snags and splits, ensuring reliability while navigating various terrains.
Traction: The KO3 is engineered for superior grip, whether on muddy paths or snowy mountain roads. Its serrated shoulder design and MudPhobic Bars enhance traction in mud and snow, while the improved tread compound boosts wet traction. Notably, the KO3 stops 4.2 meters shorter than the KO2, providing an added level of safety for your off-road RV adventures.
