The 812 Competizione features a refined 6.5-liter V12 engine derived from the 812 Superfast. This version incorporates lighter internal parts, newly designed cylinder heads, and cutting-edge enhancements, including low-friction coatings and superior oiling systems. Together, these advancements yield a remarkable 819 horsepower, allowing the engine to rev up to a striking 9,500 rpm redline.

Aerodynamic enhancements are apparent throughout the vehicle, designed to ensure that the 812 Competizione maintains exceptional road stability. A standout feature is the rear panel, optimized in a wind tunnel that replaces the traditional rear windscreen. The performance figures are impressive: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.85 seconds, achieves 0 to 200 km/h in 7.5 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 340 km/h. Production was limited to just 999 units, all of which sold rapidly, establishing the 812 Competizione as an immediate classic.

The offered 812 Competizione by RM Sotheby’s has only 383 kilometers on its odometer and includes over €80,000 worth of customizations, pushing its initial €485,195 price up. It features a stunning Blu America paint with a Giallo Fly central stripe and Nero border.

Yellow highlights are also present on the brake calipers and Pirelli Color Edition tires, which come mounted on 20-inch matte black forged racing wheels. A carbon fiber rear diffuser and air vents add to the exterior enhancements, while the interior features Blu Scuro Alcantara racing seats with yellow stitching and carbon fiber accents. Notable additions include a front suspension lifter and parking cameras.

This 812 Competizione will go under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s next month, with an estimated price between €1,200,000 and €1,400,000 ($1,300,000 – $1,550,000 USD), and will include its Ferrari Classiche “Yellow Book.”
