Are you considering a cruise for the summer of 2025? Look no further than the offerings from American Cruise Lines.

As the exclusive cruise line providing luxurious overnight journeys along the Hudson River, American Cruise Lines is enhancing its 8-Day Hudson River Summer Classic cruise for 2025.

Traditionally, American Cruise Lines has ran its popular Hudson River Fall Foliage cruises in September and October, often fully booking well over a year in advance. This year, the company trialed several early summer trips in May and June, alongside an exciting new 8-Day Hudson River Summer Classic itinerary, which departs roundtrip from New York City and delves into the scenic Hudson River Valley.

Next year, the cruise line will offer more than three times the number of summer departures, including trips throughout June, July, and August, along with the highly sought-after fall sailings in late September and October.

This new cruise presents an excellent opportunity to experience the Hudson Valley during the summer, reminiscent of a time when summer retreats in the area were a beloved option for families and couples.

The new cruise itinerary provides stunning views of Manhattan’s iconic skyline, a sail past the Statue of Liberty, and visits to key locations such as Catskill, Albany, Kingston, Hyde Park, West Point, and Sleepy Hollow in New York, alongside excursions in New York City.

For over a century, the Hudson River Valley has been the residence of U.S. presidents, industrial magnates, celebrated artists, and various notable Gilded Age figures. The region is rich in history and features numerous historic sites.

Guests of American Cruise Lines will be guided by local experts through the area’s famed attractions, which include visits to the West Point Military Academy, FDR’s Presidential Library & Museum in Hyde Park, the Vanderbilt Mansion, and Lyndhurst.

The new Summer Classics are especially convenient for New Yorkers, as the ships will depart from Pier 81, located close to the Intrepid. The itinerary also includes a guided tour of New York City featuring a special experience at the World Trade Center, and the chance to visit Sleepy Hollow, where Washington Irving penned his famous tale, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, at his home, Sunnyside, along the Hudson’s banks.

These exclusive cruises on the Hudson River are conducted aboard the latest modern riverboats and small ships in the country, all featuring 100 percent private balcony accommodations, spacious indoor and outdoor lounges, walking tracks, and amenities comparable to the finest river cruises worldwide.
