The French car manufacturer Alpine has unveiled the A110 R Ultime, a limited-edition version of their A110 sports car, which stands out as the most performance-oriented road-legal model from the brand to date. This new vehicle will be on display at the Paris Motor Show, appearing alongside the A390_β show car, Alpenglow HY6, and the A290.
True to its name, the Alpine A110 R Ultime represents the pinnacle of the A110 lineup. It features an optimized aerodynamic package designed for track performance, including a front splitter, side skirts, a sizeable rear diffuser, and a new top-mounted wing with substantial end plates, generating over 160 kg of downforce at maximum speed.
Customers will have plenty of choices in customizing the A110 R Ultime, with 27 exterior colors available, alongside options for interior upholstery featuring up to 9 Alcantara and 10 leather selections.
Under the hood, the A110 R Ultime is powered by a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, tuned to deliver 345 hp at 6000 rpm. The torque has increased by 59 lb-ft, bringing it to 310 lb-ft compared to the A110 R Turini model.
Alpine has stated that the engine features an updated turbo and is paired with a new DW6 gearbox. Other enhancements include an Akrapovic exhaust system, Ohlins adjustable dampers, and AP Racing brakes, which feature high-performance pads and improved cooling ducts. The car rides on 19-inch wheels fitted with Michelin PS2 Cup tires and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
As previously reported, the Alpine A110 R Ultime will be produced in a limited run of just 110 units, with a starting price of €265,000, taxes included.
