The Italians possess an innate talent for crafting exquisite creations across various domains such as automobiles, watercraft, clothing, and accessories. Stellantis’ Italian brands have been particularly excelling in this realm recently. For instance, the Fiat 500e concepts unveiled recently pay homage to Italy’s prominent design houses, showcasing that grand designs can be contained in compact forms. Alfa Romeo, on the other hand, has now introduced its “Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversaro” editions of the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV. While these models may not feature substantial alterations from their standard counterparts, they do demonstrate the brand’s commitment to staying current with prevailing design trends and aesthetics.

The 100th Anniversary variants will belong to the top-tier Quadrifoglio lineup, featuring fresh badges crafted at the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo in Turin. These badges offer a contemporary interpretation of the iconic four-leaf clover emblem, now embellished with a thick golden frame and engraved with the years 1923-2023. Complementing this golden touch are new brake calipers in gold that provide a striking contrast against the signature “phone dial” Alfa wheels, as well as golden stitching accentuating the seats, dashboard, and commemorative badges scattered around the interior. While I wish Alfa had opted for stunning golden wheels, I’m willing to overlook this minor omission.

Observing the latest Rolex ad campaigns, you’ll notice an abundance of green dials encased in gold bezels, similar to the latest Bvlgari handbags crafted from emerald green leather with gold accents. The story remains consistent with Gucci footwear and Armani attire, as showcased here. While fashion trends often permeate the automotive industry—especially the high-end sector—Alfa Romeo has truly excelled in this aspect. The Quadrifoglio emblem, for instance, is so striking that I would consider transforming it into a magnificent signet ring.

While these special anniversary editions may feature subtle modifications, I view this as prioritizing quality over quantity. Alfa Romeo has not disclosed pricing details, making it challenging to ascertain the financial viability of investing in one of these models (which is likely unfavorable). Nevertheless, if you seek a vehicle that delivers exceptional performance and boasts exquisite aesthetics, the green and gold Giulia Quadrifoglio is hard to surpass. Although alternatives in Rosso Etna and Vulcano Black are available, why settle for anything less than the best?

Reservations will commence later this spring, with deliveries scheduled for the third quarter, affording you limited time to save up for this exclusive opportunity. Moreover, only 100 units of each model will be manufactured, heightening the urgency to make a swift decision.
