Recently, I had the opportunity to test drive the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma and found it to be a significant improvement over the previous model. With more space, enhanced comfort, and increased technological features, this new midsize truck resembles a downsized Tundra. Although the official website has yet to showcase the new Tacoma, keen-eyed individuals at Tacoma4G.com stumbled upon what seems to be an early version of the upcoming online customization tool.
I decided to engage with it, and you can too by clicking here.

It’s important to note that while this seems authentic, the customization tool doesn’t seem fully prepared for public use yet. Some engine options, packages, and additional accessories are not properly categorized, with some having generic descriptions. Additionally, the accuracy of equipment pricing remains uncertain.

However, that didn’t deter me from creating multiple unique Tacomas. The most enjoyable aspect of these customizers is exploring different colors, cab styles, and wheel choices rather than focusing on pricing details. I crafted a stylish Tacoma TRD PreRunner with the XtraCab in Solar Octane, as well as a TRD Sport with the Double Cab in Ice Cap. Lastly, I designed a striking Tacoma Limited in the mesmerizing Bronze Oxide hue.

If you seek detailed information on the new Tacoma to aid in your truck-buying journey, using this customization tool might be premature. Nevertheless, if you simply wish to pass some time (perhaps hours) fantasizing about owning the ultimate Tacoma, now is your opportunity. Interestingly, the Trailhunter variant is currently absent from this customizer. It could potentially be added later or be featured on a dedicated separate website.
