In the previous month, Sasha Selipanov, the former chief designer at Koenigsegg, teased the introduction of a new brand named Nilu27. Not much information has been disclosed about the new hypercar except that it will be powered by a V12 engine. Two teasers provide a sneak peek of what to anticipate when the car debuts at Pebble Beach in August. New videos, shared on Instagram, offer insights into the upcoming car.

Initially, it’s known that the Nilu27 will boast an impressive 11,000 rpm redline, as indicated by a teaser image of the counterclockwise tachometer. Illuminated in a striking red hue, the tachometer extends to 13,000 rpm, featuring a racing flag motif denoting the redline zone (potentially indicating a fuel cutoff at 13k). While an 11,000 rpm redline is remarkable, it still falls short of the GMA T.50’s 12,100 rpm redline. The Interior Will Embrace a Screenless Environment

Furthermore, the interior is set to reflect meticulous attention to detail with striking design elements featured in the tachometer. The 3D effect, highlighted by the backlighting, appears exquisite. The caption alongside the video states, “For those curious, we prefer a screen-free experience.” This clearly hints at the choice to opt for analog dials instead of digital displays, which have become all the rage across the industry. This retro-inspired approach is captivating and will attract affluent enthusiasts seeking to reminisce about the classic era of driving.

It will be intriguing to observe whether Nilu27 completely ditches screens. It’s been affirmed by Nilu27 that its maiden masterpiece will boast Michelin Cup 2 R tires, which have been touted as a “clear-cut selection” for the supercar. The caption specifies, “Cup 2 R tires not only excel in performance but also enhance the commanding appearance of the NILU hypercar.” The 325/30 ZR tires envelop 21-inch, center-locking five-spoke wheels, with carbon ceramic brakes seemingly tucked behind them.
