While four-digit horsepower numbers are typically associated with brands like Bugatti or heavily modified Nissan GT-Rs, Bisimoto has ignored that trend completely. Known for tuning high-performance Porsches, founder Bisi Ezerioha is adept at maximizing engine power. So, when he shows up at Hoonigan’s Donut Garage in a Honda Odyssey minivan, there’s clearly more to this vehicle than it appears.
Bisi chose to keep the original Honda engine but made extensive modifications, which include Arias 9.0:1 forged pistons, Bisimoto camshafts, R&R rods, Golden Eagle sleeves, fully ported heads, a Supertech Valvetrain, and a 72mm Turbonetics 7265 turbocharger equipped with an RG45 wastegate. Additionally, he incorporated an AEM Infinite engine control unit to enable a flex fuel setup. Running on standard pump gas, Bisi’s Honda Odyssey generates 600 horsepower at 16 psi, but when fueled with ethanol at maximum boost, it cranks out an impressive 1029 horsepower.
Despite all these significant enhancements, the exterior of the minivan offers only one hint of its power: a large intercooler positioned in place of the Honda grille. Inside, the traditional automatic transmission has been swapped for a manual transmission from an Acura TL Type-S.
