The organization understands the everyday difficulties faced by individuals undergoing chemotherapy and aims to bring awareness to these challenges while making the temporary side effects, like dry skin and cold feet, a bit more manageable through thoughtful care packages.
The previous raffle in 2018 was won by Daniel Miller, a U.S. Air Force member who was stationed in the Middle East when his winning ticket was drawn by Doonan during the 2018 12 Hours of Sebring. Upon learning of his win, Miller shared with Jill Swanson Peltier, the founder of Lemons of Love, that he decided to contribute to the charity as his mother is also a cancer survivor.
