For sedan enthusiasts who appreciate models like the 2018 Toyota Camry and the 2018 Toyota Corolla, the impending arrival of the 2019 Toyota Avalon at dealerships across the country in mid-2018 is exciting news. The Avalon, a spacious, full-size flagship sedan, has undergone a complete redesign for the 2019 model year.

Unlike the new 2018 Toyota Camry, which is a more compact version than its predecessor, the updated 2019 Toyota Avalon is larger than previous models. Specifically, its wheelbase has been extended by 2 inches, and it features wider front and rear tracks. Along with the size increase, the 2019 Avalon has also been improved aerodynamically, thanks to enhancements like front air curtains, a rear spoiler, and underbody panels.

When the 2019 Toyota Avalon reaches our dealership near Berwick, PA, it will come in four stylish trim levels. The XLE and Limited trims are designed for a luxurious look and feel, whereas the XSE and Touring trims focus on a sportier aesthetic.

The 2019 Toyota Avalon will be available as a gasoline model powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, as well as in a hybrid version. The gasoline models will feature a new eight-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrid variants will come with a continuously variable automatic transmission.

This sedan will also incorporate the next-generation Entune™ 3.0 infotainment system, which includes Apple CarPlay™. Additionally, the 2019 Avalon will be equipped with USB ports and rear air conditioning vents, with an option for heated rear seats available on the fully redesigned model.

Although the 2019 Toyota Avalon hasn’t yet arrived in our new vehicle inventory, we are eager to share details about this exciting new sedan. For more information about the 2019 Toyota Avalon, feel free to reach out to MotorWorld Toyota or visit our dealership today.
