Designed for Adaptability

The 1961 Renault 4 transformed the automotive landscape and became a cultural icon. It marked Renault’s first family-oriented vehicle with a front-mounted engine and a flat floor due to the absence of a transmission tunnel. This design made it the quintessential spacious and practical car for both urban and rural driving, whether for workdays or weekend getaways. It resonated with a changing society and achieved remarkable success, emerging as a favorite in over 100 countries. Ultimately, Renault produced over 8 million units of the Renault 4.

The new Renault 4 E-Tech electric mirrors the versatility of its iconic predecessor. Like the original model, it is perfectly suited for modern needs, being fully electric and offering a contemporary appeal. It measures 4.14 meters long, making it an ideal companion for the shorter 3.92-meter-long Renault 5. Utilizing the AmpR Small platform, it is engineered to provide exceptional interior space along with superior agility and comfort. The Renault 4 E-Tech electric will be manufactured in Maubeuge, France, and is expected to hit showrooms in 2025.
