This year has taught me a lesson about the reliability of online information. You’d think I would have grasped that after experiencing identity theft for the fourth time while attempting to claim another old iPhone, but here we are. Normally, I might have doubted that these images showcase the 2025 Ram HD, but since they came directly from the company’s representatives, I’m inclined to believe it.
One thing that stands out to me is the grille of the 2025 Ram HD Rebel, which is divided into numerous segments that create a disorienting effect. The confusion is amplified by the headlights that combine a clear-black design with matte plastic, which I only recognized upon closer inspection—I initially thought they formed a single unit.
I assume the large grille enhances cooling, which is crucial for a hardworking diesel truck—especially while towing heavy loads like campers or excavators. Yet, it seems that Ram managed to achieve adequate cooling with grilles in other models that are visually more appealing (though not exceptional, just better).
Stellantis
Observing the entire lineup, the Tradesman Chassis Cab positioned in the center appears quite neutral, featuring horizontal lines that are commonly recognized. The red truck on the right presents a grille that consists solely of chrome with a body-color surround.
Nevertheless, the split headlights seem as though they could have been designed by an AI, and the random stacking of the grille slats gives off an impression akin to a chaotic digital creation. If it were painted yellow and black, I might mistake it for one of the fabricated Caterpillar truck images.
Stellantis
I’m puzzled about what prompted the changes to the Ram HD’s front design. I previously considered it one of the most attractive new trucks available. It feels as if they altered something simply for the sake of change, resulting in a less favorable outcome than what was initially there.
On the bright side, at least a Cummins engine is still present underneath the hood.
