In its latest endeavor, Hennessey Performance has taken the already powerful 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and pushed its limits even further. This factory version is equipped with a robust 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, the same one found in the Dodge Hellcat models.

However, for Hennessey, that level of power simply wasn’t sufficient. By incorporating a 4.5-liter supercharger system that boosts pressure to 14 psi, adding stainless steel long tube headers, enhancing fuel injectors, improving the fuel pump, integrating a high-flow air induction system, and fine-tuning the engine management, Hennessey has elevated the performance of its Trackhawk HPE1000 model to an impressive 1,012 horsepower and 969 lb-ft of torque.

For those who find that power a bit excessive but still desire an upgrade for their Trackhawk, Hennessey offers the HPE850 enhancement package. This option retains the stock supercharger while upgrading the lower pulley, enhancing air flow, and fine-tuning the engine management system. As indicated by its name, the Hennessey Trackhawk HPE850 produces 852 horsepower and 845 lb-ft of torque.

Hennessey’s undertaking was relatively straightforward, given the company’s extensive experience with Hellcat modifications. They have previously developed similar HPE850 and HPE1000 upgrades for the Charger and Challenger models, so adapting these enhancements for the new Jeep wasn’t a daunting task. What do you think, how much more power might Hennessey extract from the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon?
