Ford has introduced the updated Lincoln MKT, a luxury crossover vehicle from the renowned Detroit brand.
The Lincoln MKT is among the first to feature Ford’s innovative V6 EcoBoost engine, a 3.5-liter powerhouse that delivers 355 horsepower and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque, ensuring enhanced fuel efficiency without compromising performance. Additionally, a larger but less potent 3.7-liter V6 Duratec engine will also be available, producing 268 horsepower and 267 lb-ft (360 Nm) of torque.
The EcoBoost variant of the MKT comes equipped with all-wheel drive, an option also available on the base model. Another highlight includes the Panoramic Vista Roof, a glass ceiling that Ford has trademarked.
The MKT provides a third-row seating option, allowing configurations for six or seven passengers, along with footrests for second-row riders to relax while enjoying the Family Entertainment System, which features dual 7-inch DVD screens.
Color choices for the MKT are abundant, with appealing names such as Tuxedo Black, Red Candy Tint Clearcoat Metallic, and Cinnamon Clearcoat Metallic.
The Lincoln MKT is set to hit the North American market in late summer.
