On Thursday morning, Subaru sent an email to its owners inviting them to participate in a fun experience featuring a 42-second video where they appear alongside dogs in a Subaru. As a dedicated Subaru enthusiast, I decided to give it a go myself here at The Drive.
This video appears to be a playful twist on Subaru’s “Subaru Dog Tested” advertising campaign. The key distinction is that this time, Subaru is allowing not just the owners but anyone who wants to feel like part of the canine-loving group known as “The Barkleys” to join in on the canine-centered fun. Additionally, this iteration is significantly more entertaining than the standard advertisements.
The email from Subaru included the following message:
Dear [OWNER],
We’re thrilled to have you as a part of our Subaru family. To express our gratitude, we invite you to enjoy this shareable video featuring you with our dog family, the Barkleys.
