The 2020 GMC Sierra HD is a key player in General Motors’ heavy-duty truck lineup, complemented by the 2020 Chevy Silverado HD. With a new 10-speed automatic transmission paired with a Duramax diesel engine, it boasts a maximum towing capacity of 35,500 pounds, producing 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. This impressive vehicle is set to hit the market later this year, and we have all the details regarding its pricing.

The base model GMC Sierra HD starts at $37,195 (including destination fees) for the regular cab long bed in the 2500 HD configuration, while the 3500 HD begins at $38,395.

For those interested in a more equipped option, the 2020 GMC Sierra HD SLE has starting prices of $41,595 for the regular cab and $45,395 for the crew cab (also inclusive of destination fees), reflecting a $1,900 decrease from the previous year for the crew cab, four-wheel drive variant. SLE models come equipped with LED headlights and taillights, a side bed step, a MultiPro Tailgate, and the upgraded diesel engine, although a 6.6-liter V8 gasoline engine is standard.

The Denali trims begin at $65,295 (including destination fees) and come packed with advanced safety features. These include blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, automatic high beams, and automatic emergency braking. The ProGrade Trailering system with hitch view, MultiPro Tailgate, and a more luxurious interior featuring heated and cooled front seats, along with heated rear seats, are also part of the standard equipment.

Optional enhancements include a head-up display and a Surround Vision camera system, which offers a total of 15 camera views.

For those seeking an off-road appearance and enhanced capability, GMC has introduced the AT4 trim within the Heavy Duty lineup. This variant starts at $59,295 (including destination fees) and includes features like Rancho shocks, skid plates, an Eaton locking rear differential, and off-road tires. The AT4 also has a Traction Select system with an off-road mode and hill-descent control, along with the standard MultiPro Tailgate.

The head-up display and Surround Vision camera system are also available as options on the AT4.

The 2020 GMC Sierra HD is anticipated to be available for sale later this year..
