Bugatti Chiron Showcases Its Power in New Footage
The Bugatti Chiron stands out as a remarkable achievement in automotive engineering, making it a topic of fascination among car enthusiasts. However, since customer deliveries have only recently begun and only a limited number of automotive journalists have had the opportunity to drive it, firsthand experiences with the Chiron’s true potential have been scarce. Fortunately, we’ve caught a brief glimpse of its performance, and it’s nothing short of stunning.
In a video shared on Instagram, Chris Harris, the host of Top Gear and presenter on /DRIVE for NBC Sports, demonstrates the incredible acceleration of the new 1,500-horsepower Chiron. One thing is clear from this clip: this car is exceptionally fast.
Bugatti asserts that the Chiron can reach an electronically capped top speed of 261 miles per hour, fueled by its quad-turbocharged W-16 engine. However, in the footage, it appears that Harris may not be pushing the car to those extreme speeds.
This clip was likely filmed during the production of a forthcoming Top Gear episode, so audiences can anticipate seeing more of Harris and the Chiron in action very soon.
