Pink Cadillacs are more than just a nod to Mary Kay sales representatives. Each year, Pink Cadillac Day is celebrated on September 1, honoring this distinctive vehicle that embodies various ideas—from personal expression and defiance to the wealth needed to adorn a luxury car in such a vibrant color. Pink Cadillacs have become iconic in American culture, even making an appearance in Elvis Presley’s life. But what if there were a pink Cadillac designed for racing? Well, prepare to be amazed.

The FIA World Endurance Championship is set to hold its sixth race of the season at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin this weekend. Coincidentally, race day aligns with Pink Cadillac Day, September 1. In celebration, the team at GM unveiled an impressive show car that captures attention. It could easily be one of the most striking race cars we’ve seen, though regrettably, it won’t be competing. Cadillac, that’s a significant missed chance!

Attendees at the Lone Star Le Mans event will have the chance to view the show car throughout the event weekend. If you’re there, don’t forget to share some photos; I’d love to see how it shines under the sun.

For those unable to attend the race, there’s good news: the unique livery will be available for download on Forza Motorsport starting today. While the V-Series.R may not be racing in the real world, you can certainly drive it in the virtual realm.
