Those investing in one of Ford’s Raptor models are likely tuned into automotive trends and performance metrics even after they have taken their new vehicle home. Owning a Raptor is as much about lifestyle as it is about transportation.

To keep their owners excited, Ford is committed to regular updates for these vehicles.

“Forget about the Colorado ZR2 Bison,” the company seems to suggest. “Your Raptor continues to evolve.”

Ford has now introduced enhancements for the 2024 Ranger Raptor off-road truck and the 2022-2024 Bronco Raptor SUV, both of which are powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine. For a fee of $825, buyers can upgrade the performance:

  • Ranger Raptor: Torque increases from 430 lb-ft to 536 lb-ft, while horsepower rises from 405 to 455.
  • Bronco Raptor: Torque climbs from 440 lb-ft to 536 lb-ft, with horsepower growing from 418 to 455.

Owners have the option to purchase the upgrade either with cash or Ford Rewards Points. Additionally, attendees of Ford’s Raptor Rally, a special one-day event at the Ford Performance Racing School in Fairfield, Utah, on September 21, will receive a 20% discount coupon.

The tickets for the Raptor Rally are priced at $500 and do not include travel or lodging costs.

This upgrade is based on software, but Ford requires that owners bring their Raptor vehicles to a dealership for installation, as the update cannot be delivered over the air.
