  • Lincoln has unveiled the 2025 Navigator, aiming to rival the Cadillac Escalade.
  • Passengers in the first and second rows can enjoy heated and cooled massage seats, and
Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system is included as standard.
  • Two premium Black Label versions offer exclusive features, colors, and trims.

The present Lincoln Navigator has been available for several years, but to bolster its competition against the recently updated Cadillac Escalade, Ford’s luxury division is introducing a completely new model. The 2025 Navigator retains the 440-horsepower 3.5-liter Ecoboost V6 engine from its predecessor, but presents a redesigned interior and exterior. A striking new 48-inch infotainment display dominates the dashboard, while heated and cooled massage seats are offered for both first and second-row passengers.

Similar to the Cadillac Escalade, the new Navigator combines grand wheels, comfort, and high-tech features. The standard 22-inch wheels can be upgraded to a larger 24-inch option, showcasing intricate design details reflective of the new truck’s bodywork.

However, Lincoln takes a different approach to luxury from the Cadillac Escalade. Notably, a “Rejuvenate” feature integrates the vehicle’s scent, ambient lighting, massage options, climate settings, and more into an immersive experience meant to soothe the driver. This feature, which can only be activated while the vehicle is parked, includes various modes tailored to different moods, with each session lasting between 5 to 10 minutes.

While the “Rejuvenate” feature is limited to front row occupants, rear passengers are also well taken care of. As mentioned, the second row can be fitted with heated and cooled massage seats, and even the third row, often overlooked in luxury vehicles, offers heated seats. For those wondering about connectivity, the Navigator is equipped with a total of 14 USB ports throughout its spacious interior.

Notably, luxurious features extend beyond the Navigator’s cabin. An optional “cargo tailgate manager” enhances functionality with multiple storage shelves, a bench seat, and even a table, promoting the idea that this vehicle is intended to be enjoyed when stationary.

Driving the Lincoln is meant to be hassle-free, especially on highways. Ford’s BlueCruise, a hands-free highway driving system, is standard equipment. Similar to General Motors’ Super Cruise, it allows for hands-free driving while maintaining lane discipline and automatically controlling acceleration and braking. Although it requires supervision, this feature significantly reduces stress during long drives.

If you desire even more luxury, two Black Label options called Enlighten and Atmospheric are available. The Black Label Navigator upgrades the driver’s seat to a 30-way “Perfect Position” model, surpassing the 24-way adjustable seat in other trims. The interiors also feature luxurious touches, including genuine wood, premium leather, and a “crystal-inspired” volume control knob.

The Enlighten model features bright, light-colored interiors with beige seats accented with grey piping and birch accents, while the Atmospheric model takes on a darker theme with grey leather seats, black flooring, and copper details. Both versions come standard with luxurious second-row captain’s chairs and a premium 28-speaker audio system.

Pricing for the 2025 Navigator has not yet been disclosed, but given that the current model starts at around $80,000, it’s anticipated that the new version will approach six figures. The updated Navigator is set to hit the market next spring.
