The Lincoln Star Concept closely resembles the brand’s existing luxury vehicles, representing an advancement of Lincoln’s Quiet Flight design, commonly seen in models like the Corsair. This concept is not only a glimpse into the future of Lincoln’s electric vehicles—three of which are set to debut by 2025—but also aims to provide a “sanctuary” experience for passengers, engaging their senses of sight, sound, and even smell.

The Star Concept has more to offer than just windows and stylish interior lighting in the doors and floor. Its A-pillars incorporate a see-through metal lattice design, with the same feature present in the D-pillars at the rear. The front trunk extends into the first row of seats, while the hood is made from electro-chromatic glass that allows light in when driving and darkens when parked to conceal its contents. Coupled with a large glass roof, front seats that can rotate to face the rear, and a flat floor, the Star Concept is designed to create a spacious atmosphere for passengers.

Enhancing the overall experience, the Star Concept features three unique “rejuvenation moods” inspired by the natural rhythms of human life: morning, day, and evening. This initiative incorporates visual, auditory, and olfactory elements, beginning with Coastal Morning, which mingles warm lighting, ocean sounds, and a scent reminiscent of sea mist. The Mindful Vitality is tailored for afternoons, featuring floral fragrances, lively music, and gentle, warm lighting. Lastly, Evening Chill presents an evergreen aroma accompanied by soothing evening sounds and a video of the night sky.

The concept is likely to feature multiple display screens for entertainment, including two for rear-seat passengers, who also enjoy a drink chiller nestled between the reclining lounge seats. A prominent screen spans the width of the cabin in front, complemented by a smaller secondary screen in the center of the dashboard that houses all essential driver controls on the left. While detailed information on automated driving capabilities remains undisclosed, the Star Concept is expected to come with advanced technology as part of the next-generation Lincoln Intelligence System, including vehicle-to-vehicle communications, driver assistance features, and a host of connected services.

“As Lincoln moves forward in our transition to zero-emissions, the Lincoln Star Concept will pave the way for our fully electric vehicle lineup,” stated Lincoln President Joy Falotico. “This concept exemplifies our new vision of luxury for the future, as we look to transform the vehicle into a true sanctuary for our clients.”

Details regarding power specifications or range have yet to be disclosed, and it remains uncertain which features of the Star Concept will transition to production. The electric framework is adaptable for both rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations, making it likely that elements of the Star Concept will influence the numerous Lincoln EVs anticipated in the upcoming years.
