After its global unveiling in April of this year, the MINI Aceman has officially launched in Thailand. This compact SUV, positioned between the Cooper and the Countryman in the MINI lineup, is available exclusively in the SE variant, priced at 1.999 million baht (approximately RM255,000).
The Aceman SE is equipped with a front-mounted electric motor with an output of 218 PS (215 hp or 160 kW) and 330 Nm of torque, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.1 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 170 km/h.
Powering the electric motor is a 54.2 kWh battery, offering a maximum range of up to 405 km based on the WLTP cycle. The Aceman SE supports AC charging at a maximum of 11 kW, with a full charge taking five hours and 45 minutes. For quicker replenishment, it also features DC charging at up to 95 kW, allowing the battery to go from 10% to 80% in just 31 minutes.
In terms of dimensions, the Aceman measures 4,076 mm in length, 1,754 mm in width, and 1,515 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,606 mm. This sizing situates it solidly between the MINI Cooper (3,858 mm long, 2,526 mm wheelbase) and the Countryman (4,433 mm long, 2,692 mm wheelbase).
The Thailand version of the Aceman comes standard with features such as 18-inch ‘Night Flash Spoke’ two-tone alloy wheels, LED headlights with high beam assist, a panoramic glass roof, roof rails, synthetic Vescin leather upholstery (available in Nightshade Blue or Beige), ‘Favoured’ interior trim, John Cooper Works sport seats, a sport steering wheel, a circular OLED touchscreen, a wireless charger, a Harman Kardon audio system, a head-up display, and MINI Experience Modes.
