Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWCV) has introduced ServicePlus, a comprehensive support program tailored for its commercial customers through its dealer network. With ServicePlus, VWCV delivers top-tier standards on a global scale, implemented by its partners. Recently, Grafschafter Autozentrale Krüp in Nordhorn became the 750th ServicePlus partner, enabling local businesses to access exclusive offerings. These include extended operating hours, quick appointment availability, suitable loaner vehicles, and specialized service personnel. The ServicePlus initiative is aimed at ensuring the seamless mobility of VWCV’s commercial clientele.

Lars Krause, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at VWCV, congratulated Grafschafter Autozentrale Krüp on joining the ServicePlus network, highlighting the program’s significance: “Our priority is the needs of commercial customers, which diverge greatly from those of private customers. This applies not only to purchasing and using vehicles but also in terms of service. I am thrilled to welcome our 750th ServicePlus partner today.”

Dirk Weimann, Head of Aftersales Germany, stated, “Mobility is crucial for commercial customers since they depend on our vehicles to run their businesses, which leads to unique servicing requirements. Typically, a dealership’s normal hours coincide with their business hours, making it difficult to service their vehicles during those times. Our ServicePlus partners worldwide tackle these issues by providing tailored service times and options.” Weimann emphasized the importance of understanding and ideally surpassing commercial clients’ expectations regarding vehicle services.

ServicePlus partners offer a variety of services, including prompt appointment scheduling and swift repair actions. Having specialized service personnel is vital for the success of ServicePlus, with key commercial vehicle functions in the dealership staffed with overlapping expertise. This includes technicians specialized in handling vehicles with modified bodies, ensuring repairs and servicing of these vehicles can be performed consistently. With a keen focus on commercial client needs, ServicePlus partners also provide special loaner vehicles, such as courtesy cars in the Crafter size and adequate replacement mobility for vehicles equipped with custom features.

Kristin Krüp, Managing Director of Grafschafter Autozentrale Krüp, remarked, “Our primary goal is to keep customers mobile. Our clients value our ability to adapt our processes and structures flexibly to align with their needs. As a ServicePlus partner, we can enhance our service offerings and showcase this improvement publicly.”

ServicePlus was launched by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in 2018, and Grafschafter Autozentrale Krüp is the 750th partner to join the program. ServicePlus is currently available in over 80 markets globally, specifically catering to commercial clients. VWCV aims to expand the number of ServicePlus partners to 900 by 2025.
