Next year, upon the unveiling of Disney Cruise Line’s latest creation, Disney Destiny, passengers will have the opportunity to experience a suite inspired by Tony Stark, situated within one of the vessel’s funnels.
Situated in the forward funnel of the ship, this suite, designed in true Iron Man fashion, will span 2,000 square feet and pay homage to the sophisticated, industrial aesthetics associated with Tony Stark.
Featuring a two-story window, the suite can accommodate up to eight guests. Additionally, guests will benefit from amenities such as a complete kitchen and a private ensuite elevator.
Guests staying in this exclusive suite will enjoy premium service similar to that provided in concierge-level cabins, granting access to the Concierge Lounge and a private sun deck.
The lounge will be adorned with artistic representations honoring the Avengers, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, inspired by the elegant design of their headquarters in Manhattan.
Aside from this fantastic suite, Disney Destiny will feature other Marvel-themed attractions.
The ship will offer dining experiences themed around Marvel characters such as Rocket and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. With a mix of popular songs, trivia, and engaging activities, there will be something for every member of the family to enjoy.
At the Oceaneer Club on the ship, children aged 3 to 10 will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Disney adventures at the Marvel Super Hero Academy.
This advanced Avengers facility will train the next wave of superheroes alongside beloved Avengers characters.
Brian Crosby, Marvel Experiences Development executive, shared his thoughts on this groundbreaking ship:
“With the theme centered around heroes and villains, the Disney Destiny provides a fantastic platform for us to collaborate with Disney Cruise Line on brand-new, Marvel-themed experiences that guests won’t find anywhere else, whether on land or at sea throughout the universe.”
“We pay tribute to classic heroes like Black Panther and Spider-Man on board, and we draw inspiration from the larger-than-life personas of the Avengers while creating unique venues. This will undoubtedly be a must-experience for all True Believers!”
Disney Destiny will be the third ship in its series, joining Disney Wish and Disney Treasure as sister vessels.
Its inaugural sailings from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean are scheduled to commence in November 2025.
Reservations for Disney Destiny will open to the public at large on September 12, 2024.
