Honoring the Impala SS

(Show Notes)

Jill and Tom kickstarted the episode discussing the upcoming ZR1 Corvette model. This fresh top-of-the-line ‘Vette is rumored to pack a whopping 1064 horsepower and is expected to hit dealership floors next year. Both hosts offered their base-price projections. Tom went on to share a fan’s letter and briefly conversed about the wool upholstery in his trial of the Volvo XC60 Recharge compact SUV.

Tom also provided insights on the all-new 2025 Infiniti QX80 large SUV. Tom had previously labeled the previous-gen QX80 as the weakest vehicle in its category. What are his thoughts on the new iteration? Tune in to find out.

For the second segment, Jill and Tom were joined by Don Sikora from Collectible Automobile magazine. Don guided the hosts through the current edition and delved into the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS highlighted in this month’s release. Don also gamely entertained Tom’s inspection of potential feature cars for forthcoming editions.

In the final segment, Jill endured Tom’s “Which Sold Better?” quiz, which included a bonus question about the snacks found at Buc-ee’s.
