MSC Cruises provided a glimpse of its latest open-air park aboard MSC World America. The forthcoming adventure and recreation zone, The Harbour, vows to be the “highlight” of the cruise line’s largest vessel.

The Harbour includes your typical family-friendly pursuits such as dining and unwinding but also showcases distinctive thrilling activities. Here are some of the primary attractions to watch out for:

The Harbour Aquapark and Its Vertical Plunge Slide

In addition to a water play area, The Harbour Aquapark features a 90-degree vertical plunge slide. The adventure kicks off with a pulse-racing split-second freefall followed by twists and turns that will lead you to the water zone.

Other slides in the vicinity comprise a raft slide that integrates virtual reality to intensify the excitement.

Jaw Drop @ The Spiral

Jaw Drop stands as one of the lengthiest dry slides at sea, descending passengers down 11 levels, encompassing the World Promenade. Those brave enough to try it out will enter through the jaws of a shark and catch rapid glimpses of the sea.

Swing Over the Sea With Cliffhanger

Cliffhanger emerges as one of the cruise line’s more prominently promoted features. It stands as the sole over-water swing ride globally. Instead of swinging over solid ground, visitors are propelled over the ship’s edge and linger over the ocean.

Recharge at the Family Dwelling Space

Not each of the attractions will accelerate your heartbeat. The Family Dwelling Area offers you the chance to sit back, unwind, and appreciate panoramic ocean vistas with your family.

Indulge in Snacks at The Harbour Bar & Bites

Refuel with complimentary snacks and beverages at The Harbour Bar & Bites. It’s highly recommended for families seeking to relish light snacks together while enjoying some fresh breeze.

The Harbour Light House was modeled after the lighthouse at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. It boasts play zones and a slide tailor-made for younger children.

Colorful Climbing Wall for Kids

This vibrant rock wall was devised for children. They can gauge their climbing prowess as they navigate amid the wall’s handholds and footholds.

Challenge Yourself With the High Trail Ropes Course

The High Trail Ropes Course will assess your endurance, equilibrium, and acrophobia. The challenge stretches across two levels, spans over 6,200 square feet, and encompasses two zip lines dubbed Sky Rails.

The Harbour is situated in the Family Aventura district, where the Sportsplex and Doremiland are situated. As dusk arrives, the upper deck will showcase live musical performances to entertain parents as their children delight in The Harbour’s additional activities.

MSC World America is scheduled to commence operations in April 2025. It will depart from PortMiami, providing travelers with seven-night routes to the Caribbean.
