The premier cruise contender is on the move once again. They are in the works of introducing a novel collection of cruise vessels known as the Discovery Class.
During a press conference aboard their latest vessel, Utopia of the Seas, the President and CEO of Royal Caribbean, Michael Bayley briefly touched on this distinctive fleet segment.
Although Bayley refrained from divulging intricate details about this fresh classification, he verified that the forthcoming flotilla will be recognized as Discovery Class.
With more passengers embarking on journeys with Royal Caribbean than any other cruise liner globally, they uphold their position as the most extensive cruise consortium.
Emphasizing their latest creation, Utopia of the Seas, a celebration was held last evening for its christening and official naming. Meghan Trainor took on the role of godmother for Royal Caribbean’s 6th Oasis class vessel.
Currently dominating with the seven largest cruise ships globally and with three more vessels in the pipeline, which includes two additional Icon class ships and another Oasis class, Royal Caribbean’s strategy for the Discovery class remains a topic of intrigue.
The upcoming updates on the Discovery class from Royal Caribbean will be detailed by Cruise Fever as more information unfolds.
