Our first vehicles hold a cherished place in our memories. I was handed down a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 from my brother. It was equipped with a 5.2 Magnum V8 engine, four-wheel drive, and featured a single cab, following the prevailing style of that era. As a teenager, I wasn’t fond of trucks, but now I find myself missing it. So, I ask you: Share a picture of your initial car with the group.
If you couldn’t tell from the crispness, the pose, and the impeccable condition of the truck in the image above, let me clarify that it’s a ’90s Chrysler promotional image, not an actual photo of my Ram. Visually, the only variance between the two trucks was that mine had matte silver five-spoke wheels instead of chrome rims, side steps, and fog lights. I do have photos of the pickup but they are tucked away somewhere in my parents’ home. Ah, the struggles of pre-digital media.

Alternatively, you can upload a picture of your second vehicle if needed. The one featured above is my second car: a blue 2012 Ford Focus (unfortunately equipped with the PowerShift). Extracting this jpeg from Facebook onto my desktop triggered a wave of embarrassment within me. Nevertheless, here we are. This one includes me in it, noticeable by the Wipeout t-shirt I designed myself. Is it any surprise that I do not miss my high school days?
