If you’re a enthusiast of any motorsport discipline, you’ve likely encountered the branding “Dallara.” The Italian auto racing manufacturer has actively contributed to the development of racing vehicles in Formula 1, Indy Car, World Endurance Championship (WEC), and even Formula E since the 1970s. However, it’s only recently that Dallara ventured into the arena of road cars, introducing the Dallara Stradale, which lives up to the expectations of being a road car from a reputed racecar constructor.

In a fresh video presentation by Larry Chen, a close and personal portrayal of the Stradale is depicted as he explores the Dallara facility, witnesses the construction process of the car, and even experiences driving it.

Similar to most projects by Dallara, the Stradale is constructed on a carbon fiber monocoque framework with a complementing carbon fiber exterior. Nevertheless, its front and rear subframes are fashioned from aluminum to maintain lower production and repair expenses. Consequently, if the rear is impacted, a subframe replacement suffices, leaving the primary carbon fiber tub undisturbed, a practical feature for a bespoke sports car from a petite manufacturer.
