The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is set to arrive at U.S. dealerships in late October, bringing minimal changes following its return for the 2024 model year.
The previous top-tier First Edition has concluded its production run, leaving consumers with the base Land Cruiser 1958 grade and a higher unnamed grade. These models are priced at $57,900 and $63,900, respectively, with both figures including a mandatory destination fee of $1,450. Notably, prices have seen an increase of $455 compared to the equivalent 2024 models.
2025 Toyota Land Cruiser
The Land Cruiser 1958 grade, named to commemorate the year the model first entered the U.S. market, comes with standard features including heated front seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 6-speaker audio system. The higher-tier version of the Land Cruiser boasts a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and instrument cluster, alongside a 10-speaker audio setup.
Customers can also opt for a Premium Package with the Land Cruiser grade, which enhances the vehicle with features such as a digital rearview mirror, head-up display, moonroof, cooled center console bin, a 14-speaker JBL audio system, and leather seating—previously exclusive to the limited-run First Edition.
2025 Toyota Land Cruiser
All Land Cruiser models are equipped with the same hybrid powertrain. This comprises a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor, generating a robust 326 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. The power is transferred through an 8-speed automatic transmission and comes with standard full-time four-wheel drive, featuring a 2-speed electronically shifted transfer case. Additionally, a disconnecting front stabilizer bar is available.
Referred to as the 250 series, the U.S. version of the Land Cruiser is smaller than the 300 series available in other regions. However, it is built on a variant of the same TNGA-F body-on-frame platform, which is also utilized by other models in the U.S. market, such as the similarly sized Lexus GX and Toyota 4Runner. With these two off-road SUVs already in the lineup, Toyota may have opted for a more streamlined selection of Land Cruiser trim levels.
