On Monday, Jeep revealed the pricing details for its 2025 Grand Cherokee, which is already available at dealerships across the country.
The entry-level Laredo model, featuring rear-wheel drive, starts at $38,830 for 2025, representing a $1,000 decrease from the similar 2024 model. Upgrading to four-wheel drive adds an additional $2,000.
It’s important to mention that the 2024 Grand Cherokee included a more basic Laredo A with rear-wheel drive, priced lower at $38,290; however, this model is no longer available.
For those interested in the 2025 Grand Cherokee L with third-row seating, the starting price is $40,830 for the rear-wheel drive Laredo, again reflecting a $1,000 drop compared to the 2024 version. An upgrade to four-wheel drive is an additional $2,000.
2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Other available models include the Limited, Overland, and Summit, which start at $46,700, $60,790, and $62,355, respectively.
The standard powertrain for both the regular Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L features a 293-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The previously offered 357-horsepower 5.7-liter V-8 has been removed from the lineup since 2023 for the standard Grand Cherokee and 2024 for the Grand Cherokee L.
For buyers seeking more power, the Grand Cherokee 4xe is available, which incorporates a plug-in hybrid setup that combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, delivering a total output of 375 horsepower. However, the Grand Cherokee 4xe is currently limited to the two-row configuration and comes standard with four-wheel drive.

The 2025 Grand Cherokee 4xe starts with the Limited model and is priced at $62,285. This price remains unchanged from the previous year’s model.
All prices mentioned include a destination charge of $1,795.
No new changes have been introduced for this model year, as Jeep is reserving updates for a planned mid-cycle refresh set to be unveiled next year for the 2026 model year. Camouflaged prototypes of the updated Grand Cherokee have been seen, indicating possible design modifications at the front end. Additionally, there are speculations that Jeep might introduce Stellantis’ twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 engine to replace the earlier V-8 option in the revamped Grand Cherokee.
