Recognizing this consumer feedback, Ford made significant changes for the 2025 model year. By removing the old screen-and-cubby configuration, the company introduced a new, sizable touchscreen. According to Ford, the 13.2-inch display is the largest in its category and features the cutting-edge Sync 4 system, marking it as the most advanced infotainment setup within the Ford range. Despite being the most affordable vehicle in Ford’s lineup, the Maverick boasts top-tier technology.
The removal of the cubby makes way for a host of new features in the interior, including wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a digital gauge cluster, and an optional 360-degree camera system, ensuring that it won’t be forgotten. While eliminating the cubby may seem like a minor adjustment, it underscores Ford’s attentiveness to customer input, which is a significant aspect of this redesign.
