The 2025 Corvette ZR1 has been revealed by Chevrolet as their strongest Corvette yet.
Situated above the performance-focused Corvette Z06 in the sporty car range from the brand, the Corvette ZR1 represents the most extreme variant of the current C8 generation. The primary highlight is its powerhouse.
The new ZR1 runs on an LT7 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a flat-planed crankshaft. It produces 1064 hp and 828 lb-ft of torque, revving up to 8000 rpm. Multiple adjustments were made to the LT6 V8 to reach these remarkable figures, including larger combustion chambers, an updated intake system, twin-turbochargers integrated with the exhaust manifold, special head castings, and specific valve train timing & lift profiles.
Resultantly, the ZR1 can complete a quarter-mile in less than 10 seconds and hit a top speed exceeding 215 mph. Handling the vehicle at such high speeds demands potent braking power, supplied by 400 mm discs at the front and 390 mm at the back.
The Corvette ZR1 boasts a carbon fiber aerodynamics kit, including intake ducts, a hood for air flow and a split back window. Opting for the ZTK performance set adds a substantial rear spoiler, front aerodynamic flaps, a tall hood edge, and custom suspension settings.
The 2025 Corvette ZR1 is offered in coupe and convertible body types, potentially priced at €200,000 or more in Europe.
