  • The gas-powered 2025 Cadillac Escalade will feature design updates inspired by the electric Escalade IQ.
  • More than 55 inches of screens and touch displays are included inside the Escalade.
  • The starting price for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade is $89,590, set to launch later this year.

The Cadillac Escalade IQ electric SUV is expected to hit the market later this summer, but the gasoline variant will remain available, receiving several upgrades to align its aesthetic and technology with its electric counterpart.

Cadillac introduced the revamped Escalade in July, announcing that production will commence in late 2023 and sales will follow shortly thereafter. Upon arrival at dealerships, the 2025 Escalade will be priced at $89,590 for the base Luxury trim with 2WD, while the 4WD version will cost $92,590. The high-performance V model will top the range at $161,990.

The updates to the Escalade are significant, featuring a fresh front-end design that introduces narrow turn signals positioned at the front edge of the hood. Below these, the primary headlight cluster is arranged vertically, incorporating daytime running lights. The crest emblem and grille surround have been designed to illuminate.

Additional exterior modifications include a redesigned rear end with new taillight shapes, updated exhaust tip designs, and a variety of wheel styles ranging from 22 to 24 inches in diameter, the latter being the largest ever offered for an Escalade.

The interior has also undergone extensive updates. The dashboard now boasts the same high-tech look found in the Escalade IQ, featuring 55 inches of digital displays that span the dashboard and serve as the gauge cluster, infotainment screen, and front passenger display. Additionally, there is a center console screen dedicated to climate controls and various vehicle settings, while Cadillac has confirmed the inclusion of both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Other premium features encompass powered doors, with the driver’s door designed to open automatically as the driver approaches, a standard AKG audio system equipped with 36 speakers (increasing to 40 with the executive second-row package), and General Motors’ Super Cruise driver-assist technology tailored for highway use.

Cadillac has not disclosed any mechanical modifications, but the company lists air springs and magnetic dampers as standard on most models.

Current buyers of the Escalade can choose between two engine options: a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 engine or a 277-horsepower 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-6. Both engines provide satisfactory performance, but the Escalade-V stands out with its 682-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, offering a more thrilling driving experience.

A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard across the lineup, with rear-wheel drive as the default for regular models, while the Escalade-V comes equipped with an optional four-wheel-drive system.
