Aston Martin has revealed its most robust production vehicle to date: the 2023 Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate.
Serving as a final tribute for this era of DBS, it is equipped with a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 generating 759 horsepower (or, as its name suggests, 770 PS) and 663 pound-feet of torque due to 7% more maximum boost pressure as well as modified air and ignition pathways. In comparison, the DBS Superleggera produces only 715 hp. Offered in both Coupe or convertible Volante variations, the DBS 770 Ultimate accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and 3.4 seconds in coupe and convertible formats, respectively. Both models achieve a maximum speed of 211 mph and are likely to provide an exhilarating aural experience.

The power is transmitted through a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and a mechanical, rear-mounted limited-slip differential powering the rear wheels exclusively. Similar to the standard DBS, the brakes utilize carbon ceramic materials.

A newly rigidly mounted steering column enhances steering response and feedback, with a 25% increase in front-end lateral stiffness due to a front cross member and a thicker rear undertray. Torsional stiffness has also risen by 3% overall.

The suspension system has been readjusted, a fresh front airfoil, a new vent style on the hood, an updated rear diffuser, and twill carbon fibers are distributed across the frame.

Novel 21-inch wheels influenced by the Valkyrie and Victor are covered with staggered Pirelli P Zero tires, which might evoke unease in those with trypophobia.

The Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate is restricted to only 499 units—300 Coupes and 199 Volantes—and even if Aston revealed the cost, it would be pointless as all of them are already reserved. Manufacturing is set to commence in the first quarter of this year, with shipments starting in the third quarter.

This vehicle might currently hold the moniker of “most potent production Aston,” but it’s not a title it will maintain for long, given that the 1,000-hp Valhalla hypercar is anticipated to debut around 2024.
