In addition to its updated appearance and powertrain options, JLR has focused on enhancing the driving experience in the 2022 Range Rover, aiming to make it smoother, quieter, and more relaxing than ever. The 1,600-watt Meridian sound system with 35 speakers plays a role in Active Noise Cancellation by emitting counteracting sound waves to reduce noise from the tires, engine, and wind. Technologies such as fully independent air suspension that adapts to road conditions, Dynamic Response Pro active 48-volt electronic roll control, and the brand’s first ever five-link rear axle work together to ensure a comfortable ride, shielding delicate beverages from the most challenging potholes in affluent neighborhoods.
The 2022 Range Rover is equipped with standard rear-wheel steering that can turn the rear wheels by up to seven degrees, enhancing agility at low speeds and stability at high speeds. This feature allows for a tight turning circle of just 36 feet, which is the most compact among all Land Rover vehicles. Additionally, the vehicle includes a new Versatile Loadspace Floor and Auto-Folding Loadspace Cover for added convenience. The upcoming 2023 model will introduce Power Assisted Doors.
The interior of the 2022 Range Rover has been redesigned to feature a sleek 13.1-inch curved center touchscreen that operates Amazon Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto. The touchscreen provides haptic feedback, allowing users to receive confirmation without looking away from the road. Over-the-air updates are also supported for added convenience.
Coming in the 2023 model year, customers can opt for the hand-crafted, ceramic-badged Range Rover SV model, which features a stunning interior wood mosaic.
Starting at $105,350 for the six-cylinder SE model, the 2022 Range Rover can go up to $164,850 for the V8 First Edition long-wheelbase variant. Orders are currently open, with deliveries expected to begin in spring 2022.
