The interior mirrors this simplicity and luxury, featuring a prominent elongated oval motif visible on either side of the steering wheel. And let’s not forget the standout feature: vertical exhaust tips, poised to be the next hot trend in car design, following the likes of “floating roof” D-pillars and singular taillight bars.
If vertical tailpipe ends are not your preference for any reason, Genesis offers a Sport variant of the GV70 that features round tips a la Stelvio. The more sporty-looking GV70 also comes with a distinct front bumper, striking 21-inch G-Matrix wheels, and sleek dark chrome accents. Inside, the GV70 Sport features a three-spoke steering wheel and carbon fiber elements on the doors and center console.
The automaker has not yet revealed specifics such as the available powertrains for the GV70 or its price, but did confirm that, like every other Genesis model to date, it will be constructed on a rear-wheel-drive-oriented platform. The manufacturer also mentioned that the initial U.S. deliveries of the GV70 will commence in 2021. The Genesis lineup is certainly beginning to look more comprehensive.
