Set to officially launch on Wednesday with the assistance of British tennis champion Andy Murray, the Jaguar XF Sportbrake wagon has made an early appearance through a series of leaked images shared by our colleagues at autotijd.be.

The XF Sportbrake displays a strikingly attractive design, maintaining the sophisticated look characteristic of Jaguar’s vehicles from the B-pillar forward. However, the rear is where the design truly stands out. The stylish shooting brake design features an elegant horizontal chrome element that integrates beautifully with the vehicle’s white reverse lights. The new taillights are notably reminiscent of the larger tails found on the F-Type, differing from those of the XF sedan.

Additionally, the images reveal a spacious panoramic roof that appears to cover nearly the entire length of the wagon’s ceiling.

Earlier reports have suggested that the XF Sportbrake will offer the same engine options as the XF sedan. This means buyers can choose from a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, or a 2.0-liter diesel engine, as highlighted in the recently leaked photos.

What are your thoughts on Jaguar’s new XF Sportbrake? More crucially, who will still opt for the standard four-door XF now that a more attractive and practical option has been unveiled?.
