Hyundai has recently shared updates regarding the features and options available in its latest Santa Fe crossover lineup. Since its debut in 2001, the Santa Fe has been a favorite among crossover enthusiasts. The newest model introduces a host of new technologies. Although the vehicle received a facelift in 2017, its appearance remains largely unchanged, allowing customers to customize their cars to their liking. Hyundai promises a sportier driving experience and cutting-edge technology while maintaining its trademark affordability. The standard 2018 Santa Fe will reach dealerships later this summer, while the Santa Fe Sport is currently available for purchase.

Both the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport will offer enhanced interior options and technology packages aimed at providing a more upscale experience. Choosing leather seats will also include upgraded wood accents. The Santa Fe Sport features an optional Value Package that adds heated mirrors, remote start, and upgraded power windows. All models allow for premium seat options with lumbar support, LED lighting, and a seven-inch infotainment system equipped with SiriusXM, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Hyundai’s Blue Link technology returns as an optional feature in the new Santa Fe. This service enables owners to connect their smartphones to the vehicle, enhancing convenience. Blue Link integrates with smart speakers, smartwatches, and other devices, allowing users to control their car from almost anywhere. With just one touch or a voice command, drivers can remotely start their vehicle or set a destination in the navigation system without needing to enter the car.

The Santa Fe Sport will be available in eight variations, offering both front-wheel and all-wheel drive options. Buyers can choose between a non-turbocharged 2.4L engine producing 185 horsepower or a more powerful turbocharged engine with 240 horsepower. Meanwhile, the larger Santa Fe will maintain its 3.3L V6 engine that delivers 290 horsepower due to its larger size. The starting price for the Sport is set at $24,950, with details on the Santa Fe’s pricing to be revealed as its release date approaches.
